Program Requirements

To achieve this certification, you are required to pass the corresponding exams:

To prepare for the certification exams, we recommend that you take the associated NSE courses.

Certification

To obtain the FCP in Network Security certification, you must pass the core exam and one elective exam within two years of difference. The certification will be active for two years.

Recertification

If your FCP in Network Security certification has expired, you must pass one core exam and one elective exam within two years of difference to earn active status.

If your FCP in Network Security certification is still active, you can extend its expiration date to two years from the date you complete one of the following requirements:

• Passing the core exam and one elective exam within two years of difference.
• Passing the core exam or one elective exam for the FCSS in Network Security certification.

If your FCP in Network Security certification is still active, you can extend its expiration date to three years from the date you achieve or renew the FCX in Cybersecurity certification.

Passing any of the FCP exams recertifies your FCF and FCA certifications if they are still active.
